WEEKEND ACTIVITIES

A number of classmates gathered in Atlanta to attend the Celebration of Life for Chuck Thagard. A dinner was held on Friday night, August 23. Kathy Bell, Chuck's widow, and Grayson and Devon, Chuck's sons were in attendance. Stewart Harnell was presented with a surprise birthday cake. Everyone enjoyed the evening's conversation.

On Saturday the group gathered at a local restaurant, Figo's for lunch. At four o'clock we attended the Celebration for Chuck at the condo of Grayson Thagard. We met many of Chuck's numerous friends. A wonderful DVD presentation was shown and food and drink was enjoyed by all.
